Meet the Visionary Behind Foodie Babies™

Founded by Nakira Powers, LSW, Foodie Babies™ began as a heartfelt mission to celebrate cultural traditions through the family recipes that shape our lives. As a wife, mom, social worker, and creator, Nakira envisioned a world where children everywhere could take pride in their heritage and have a beautiful way to preserve those traditions for the future with plush dolls.

A Purpose Beyond Playtime

Every Foodie Baby is thoughtfully designed to celebrate cultural traditions from around the world: ✔ To represent culinary traditions from diverse cultures ✔ To help families share cherished family recipes and memories across generations ✔ To encourage meaningful conversations and joyful play with our plush dolls.

Crafted With Heart

From the intricate outfits to the hidden recipe compartment on each plush doll’s back, every feature is thoughtfully designed to inspire connection and storytelling while honoring cultural traditions. Each plush doll transforms into a cherished family heirloom, enriching the legacy of family recipes.
